We’re Supporting Jeans for Genes!

Did you know that 1 in 10 families in the UK are affected by a genetic condition? That means many of us likely know someone who faces the daily challenges of living with one. The Jeans for Genes campaign is an incredible initiative that raises awareness and funds to support those affected by genetic conditions, helping to improve their quality of life.

What is Jeans for Genes?

Jeans for Genes is an annual campaign dedicated to shining a spotlight on the struggles faced by people with genetic conditions. The initiative not only raises much-needed funds for projects that provide practical support but also unites the genetic condition community in an effort to make their voices heard.

At its heart, Jeans for Genes is about more than just raising money—it’s about showing solidarity. It’s an opportunity for everyone to come together, raise awareness, and celebrate the resilience and achievements of those living with genetic conditions.

How You Can Show Your Support

On Friday, 20th September, we’ll be wearing jeans to school to show our support for the Jeans for Genes campaign. By doing something as simple as wearing jeans, we can help raise awareness for this important cause.

While wearing jeans is a great way to show solidarity, if you’re interested in making a donation, you can easily do so via the Jeans for Genes website: https://www.jeansforgenes.org/individual-donation.

Whether you wear your jeans to school or choose to make a donation, every bit of support counts.
