We’ve moved in!!!

The children have had great fun today exploring their new classrooms and school environment.

There is still a lot of work to do to complete the project and have the school to ourselves again, but we finally have a light at the end of the tunnel! We are all finding our way around the new building; trying to find classes is a mammoth task!! The number of empty rooms is also strange; but they won’t be empty for long!!

We now have a MUGA (Multi Use Games Area) and a new grass area outside of reception.

We had a walk around the new building and also up onto the roof!

Friday 19th August

The external render of the building continues to progress, along with the new walk way to reception, and MUGA fencing. The link between the new and existing building has also been established this week.

Friday 12th August

The tarmac for the MUGA and access road is being laid. Windows and doors are in the new build.

Friday 5th August

Arial photos.

The external facade of the building is progressing, as are the footings for the MUGA.

Friday 15th July

The building is now becoming water tight with the roof partially complete.

Wednesday 13th July

We had the opportunity to walk round the new build today, so, as there is very little changing to the outside of the building, this weeks photo’s are of the inside!

The scaffolding has been erected ready for the frame to arrive next week

The concrete base has been laid today! It has been so exciting watching how it is delivered, put onto the ground and levelled. We have taken photographs through the day.
