Enter a Virtual Race for Five Acre Wood!

We have proudly teamed up with Virtual Runner UK, the UK’s leading virtual race organiser.  They have offered to donate £1 from each entry to their ‘BBTB SRC Active’ challenge to Friends of Five Acre Wood School.

The concept of a Virtual Race is a relatively new one where you sign up to a race of your choosing and then complete your virtual race at a time and place of your choosing. You then submit your proof of your race participation (Garmin photos, app screenshots, fitbit stats, parkrun times etc.) and then your results are added to the results table and your medal is posted to you.

The challenge that has been allocated to Friends of Five Acre Wood School is slightly different to the usual virtual race, and you don’t even have to run to compete!

This challenge is about getting out there and getting active!

Between 1st and 12th March, upload a photo of yourself (before 12noon on 15th March) doing any sporting activity to earn your medal!

All medals will be sent on 1st March so you can present them after finishing your event. Why not try a sport you’ve never done before or use this medal to motivate you in your training?
