Family picnic

We held a picnic on Saturday the 10th September 2016 for families of the children in our Primary Department. Although the take up was not high those families that came had a lovely time and the rain that was forecast managed to hold off!

The children had the use of the play equipment and families brought their own picnics. The siblings of the pupils came along too and had the opportunity to meet and play with other siblings. Parents commented how nice it was to be able to use the play equipment and there was some interest in this becoming a regular event.

Comments from parents included:

“Thank you muchly for a really fun time.  Excellent idea”

“Thank you very much, it was lovely to meet some of L’s new classmates”

This is something that we would like to do to enable our new parents to meet other children and parents in the department.
