We like to be creative and imaginative at Five Acre Wood, so what could a freefall lifeboat be transformed into? A counselling space, of course!

The lifeboat arrived during the Easter holidays of 2024, and was hoisted into a half sunken position before work started.

During the 2024 summer holidays, the lifeboat has had doors fitted. The interior has been cladded and plastered, air conditioning has been installed and a small office has been constructed at the front.

We look forward to the counselling space being completed with specialised resources and furniture.
