Ground Breaking Ceremony

On Wednesday 27th April, some of the students and Peggy joined representatives from BAM and KCC to ‘break the ground’ for the new building.  Luckily the ground had already been prepared and there was a small area where the tarmac had been removed.  All the students wore hi-vis jackets and a hard hat.

We were also presented with a special spade to commemorate the occasion.

 

The students then had the opportunity to sit in a digger!  It was awfully high and a little concerning when one of them asked where the key was to start it!!
