Our Trainee Pizza Chefs
Pupils from Five Acre Wood enjoyed a visit this morning to Domino’s Dine In Restaurant in Loose to try their hand at pizza making.
Wren class pupils all enjoyed getting stuck in to every aspect of the pizza making process, and were very excited to be allowed to do all of this in the actual restaurant kitchen itself. Staff at Domino’s were impressed not only by how well-behaved all of the children were, but also by the sense of fun that they brought with them and how enthusiastic and engaged they were throughout this visit.
All pupils were able to take their own handmade pizza away to eat, and were awarded with a special personalised certificate, pin badge and balloon by Ilona the restaurant manager.
One of our Trainee Pizza Chefs from Wren class has now said that he would like to own his own pizza restaurant when he grows up, as he now has the experience. Great idea Nathaniel; aim high, we like your thinking!
Over the coming weeks several classes from Five Acre Wood will be visiting Domino’s to benefit from this wonderful hands-on experience. Thank you Domino’s Dine In Loose!
