Red Nose Day Fun!
Five Acre Wood’s School Student Council organised a day of fun for everyone to fundraise for Red Nose Day last week.
Everyone was invited to come to school wearing something red and there was fun for everyone throughout the day with a Bake-Off, face-painting and a disco.
Perhaps the most fun was at the end of the day when students were allowed to throw cooked spaghetti at members of the Senior Leadership Team!
The whole day was organised by the School Student Council who decided which activities they wanted staged throughout the day, advertised events in the school and wrote home to parents and carers to ask for their support. The spaghetti throw was organised by Chestnut and Birch classes – we’ve never seen so much spaghetti!
The combined efforts of the students, staff, parents and carers have meant that we have all raised an impressive £457.70 for Comic Relief. Well done everyone!
