Vote for our new sensory garden in Tesco stores!

We are very excited to be able to announce that we have been shortlisted in the Tesco Bags of Help initiative.

The community funding scheme awards grants of £4,000, £2,000 and £1,000 – all raised from the 5p bag levy –  to local community projects.

We are one of three groups in the local region to have been shortlisted to receive the cash award, so all we need now is for our supporters to vote for us in Tesco stores!  Voting is open in stores throughout May and June. Customers will cast their vote using a token given to them at the check-out in store each time they shop.

The project that this will fund is a sensory garden, which will hugely benefit our students.  We have been busy designing the garden with input from the students themselves, and now all we need is the support of Tesco customers so that this dream can become a funded reality.

To vote, you will need to make a purchase within store of any value. You will receive one token per transaction and it’s not necessary to purchase a carrier bag in order to receive a token.
